Funeral Disbursements
Funeral Disbursements are fees that are paid by a Funeral Director, on behalf of a client, to third parties i.e crematorium, newspaper, clergy etc.
These charges are at cost and as such would be required as a deposit at the time of making bespoke funeral arrangements.
Disbursement costs vary throughout the country with the exception of Cremation Form fees and basic Parochial Church fees.
For funerals within North East Lincolnshire some of the basic disbursements are:-
1) Completion of the Certificate of Medical Attendant and the Confirmatory Certificate (Cremation Forms) £147
2) Service of a Church of England Minister at a Crematorium Service £99 plus travel allowance
3) Service in Grimsby Crematorium (dependent on type of service and address of deceased) from £456.50
4) Service of an Independent Celebrant at either a cremation or burial service from £120
5) Fees for a service in a church vary between churches therefore the cost would be determined at the time of service
6) Press announcements are charged at the rate from the relevant newspaper
