There are occasions when extra services may be required e.g. conveyance of the deceased to the funeral home outside of office hours or from another town, city or country, receiving a coffin into church the evening before the service. These additional requirements and their costs are listed below.
To convey a deceased person to the Funeral Home within ten running miles at a time other than weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. including bank holidays £ 125:00
For distances over ten running miles a charge of 130p per mile for the initial 100 miles and 95p per mile thereafter (total mileage).
Embalming: £ 110:00
Provision of Funeral Director, hearse and bearers for receiving the deceased into church at time different to that of the service or returning the deceased to lay at rest at a local address prior to the funeral and in addition to the use of the Chapel of Rest. £ 195:00
